Low level laser therapy is used in our office to decrease postoperative pain, tissue swelling and hasten recovery.
The Erchonia® Laser is a novel approach to tissue healing by using a very specific wavelength (635nm) of light at extremely low energy output (<5min) to improve cellular function, increase blood flow to tissues and decrease pain.
The Erchonia® has a separate FDA approval for use in liposuction, decreasing bruising, postoperative pain and shortening recovery time. Research in our own office has documented increased blood flow in operated tissues within minutes of Erchonia® Low Level Laser Therapy, improving healing potential and recovery from injury. Most all our patients have a series of treatments following surgery to make their surgical recovery smoother.
